Words of late artist Frank Howell...I totally relate!

"There are few days off and no retirement from this entanglement of knowledge, passion and vision that will be molded and converted into creative expression. There are no guarantees of acceptance, understanding or reward, but...the noise inside the mind never ceases. I will paint today, tonight and for as many tomorrows as I am given..." A Fabulous Fall Find

I have seen decorative pumpkins made of many different materials, but I've never seen a twig pumpkin in orange with sparkles and glitter.  I found this fabulous fall pumpkin at TJ Maxx, and it's just fun and funky enough for my crazy house!

I think I will get a grapevine wreath and spray paint it orange, then add glitter and I'll have a matching piece for the door!

Look at the details...

It has big sparkles and little sparkles.
Colors are green, orange and yellow...
it's pretty with my apples!

Speaking of my apples- Did you notice the pretty white ironstone platter?  It was $1 at my favorite monthly estate sale at Olde Mobile Antiques Gallery, Consignment Shoppe & Estate Sales.  It's such a pretty shape and BIG...I had planned to hang it on the wall, but for now, it's holding apples.

I'll share more estate sale finds in the next post.

Thanks for dropping by!

  1. you said just funky enough for your house...and then I noticed the frog holding the green apple and cracked up. I too love that inventive pumpkin. Anyone can paint one white, but cudoos to the person who put all those sparkles on that one!
