Words of late artist Frank Howell...I totally relate!

"There are few days off and no retirement from this entanglement of knowledge, passion and vision that will be molded and converted into creative expression. There are no guarantees of acceptance, understanding or reward, but...the noise inside the mind never ceases. I will paint today, tonight and for as many tomorrows as I am given..." Fab Fashion Friday- For Ladies of All Ages

Hi Ladies!  The outfit that I'm featuring today was all about the great carpet bag from RedBarnBags on Etsy.  Link here.  I fell in love with the colors and the Bohemian feel of the bag.  It was a fun outfit to put together, and once I was finished, I realized that it is actually one of those ensembles that would work for a lady of any age.  It's feminine and fun at the same time!  I love the layers of ruffles in the skirt, and the lace on top.  The heavier Gypsy feeling fabrics in the bag make the dress sing...it's that opposite thing going on, and the lacy and flirty dress make the bag shine!  When putting together an outfit, a dichotomy such as this will almost always work, just as long as you stay within the same color palette.  It makes the entire look WAY more interesting.

I come over to visit with my sister-in-law frequently, so maybe I'll run into you again sometimes when we're out and about shopping.

    1. Thanks for sharing that information. It's a long trip from Alabama to Idaho, so I probably will not be able to drop in anytime soon, but it sounds like a great place!
